Just because you're careful about what you put up on FB, doesn't mean that they're not finding ways of acquiring, and most likely selling to third parties, information/data about you that you're not even aware of.

I deleted my account a while back, and frankly I don't miss it at all. Besides, as the number of middle aged and older folks increase in the ranks of FB, it's only a matter of time until "the next big social media thing" comes along.
