I'm guessing that the fact that pretty much every Bodega Owner/Operator/Cashier in NYC is a minority person of Latin/Hispanic ethnicity might have had something to do with it. I also think the current successful recall of D.A. Chesa Boudin in San Francisco and the advancing recall effort against D.A. George Gascon in Los Angeles might also have prompted NYC D.A. Bragg to drop the murder Charge against Jose Alba.
Who Knows, maybe he'll even consider indicting the girlfriend of the now deceased predicate Felon who attacked Alba, for stabbing Alba in the arm during the fatal confrontation.
Nah.... I don't think so.
