The Russia Dossier, The Panama Papers, Fusion GPS , etc. What happens when Private investigation Agencies that employ former journalists, former Law Enforcement Officers, and former Intelligence Agents get together and hire out to large corporations and to political parties and dig up dirt (large quantities of which turn out to be unverifiable or flat out false) but with just enough stuff that's true to create narratives that can derail political figures, financial big-wigs, media moguls and sometimes just plain people who have become a problem to the aforementioned political parties, large corporations and media empires?
