The NY Boycott

I doubt it'll have much of an effect on NY's LEO agencies, but it's nice to see some companies putting principle before profit. And I'm going to say something I've said elsewhere. In states and/or major cities that have restrictions on certain firearms, magazines, stocks, etc; Off duty Law enforcement officers should be restricted the same as regular citizens. If it's OK for the rest of us to do without because the on-duty LEO's will protect us, then the same should go for the off-duty LEO's.

This link is to a blog that is covering and updating the 'New York Boycott' by certain firearms and firearms related mfg.

I don't see SIG, Glock or S & W joining any time soon, but maybe when citizen sales to the state fall off, they might get the hint.
