To do this Project in the United States, we would need a work contract, a geo-technical and engineering report, a scope of work, a risk assessment study, a project management team, 3 HR consultants, 4 safety officers, 3 site engineers, 2 foremen, 3 leading hands, 10 laborers, an oversize pile driver, a huge crane, 2 trucks, 6 traffic controllers, a site office, 3 politicians making speeches, a “Living Wage” agreement and, of course, a consultation with the local community board.
