A lot of my friends didn't believe me years ago when I told them that women gun buyers would be the salvation (for lack of a better word) of gun ownership. I may have overstated that a bit, but this article along with others I've seen the last few years, seems to give more than a little validation to my thoughts on the matter.
OTOH the rise in legal gun ownership by minorities wasn't on my radar at all.
