OK, I've been sick the past two days and this is the first interesting article I found when I finally got around to perusing the local news. This article starts off with a state reward for reporting people with illegal guns. It's apparently been in place for two years and has never been used.
But while that is point of the article, It's the last two paragraphs about NY's new magazine law (7 rounds) that is really interesting.
Now Cuomo says he's not backpedalling, but considering his falling poll numbers since he passed the SAFE Act behind closed doors with no input from the public, not only is this mumbo jumbo he's spouting now confusing as hell, but it sure as shit looks like backpedalling to me. Not to mention that it appears to be pretty unenforceable.
